Weekend Lift Package Terms and Conditions
Must Stay Two Nights, Thursday - Sunday.
Weekend packages combine Lift ticket(s) valid for two consecutive days, starting AFTER your first night.
Ski tickets valid for either Bear Mountain or Snow Summit
Lift Tickets are picked up when you check in, after 4pm, and can only be used the day AFTER you stay.
Prices below include lodging, lift ticket(s), and all fees and taxes.
No waiting in line at resort. You go straight to the chairlift with these tickets!

Try to book a week in advance. We can't guarantee last minute availability.
Packages are non-refundable. But may be rescheduled at our discretion.
Only the number of guests listed on package are allowed in the room at the package price. There is an "extra guest fee" for additional guests.

Big Bear Hostel is a large cabin with common areas shared by guests in all rooms. Its like a large shared AirBnB house.
In addition to a private room or dorm bed, you have access to shared spaces including: kitchen, living room, dining area.

Guests of Big Bear Hostel in downtown Big Bear Lake enjoy private rooms or shared bunk rooms. Our small family-run lodge offers shared lounge areas, guest kitchens, game room, backyard picnic area w/campfire pit, kids playground, horseshoes, and a relaxing deck overlooking the lake.
What kind of room are you reserving?
Each of our bedrooms is unique. Please read exact room details for each room.
All rooms feature sturdy wood bunks with good mattresses (sleep 6ft tall adults comfortably).
Beds are made with sheets, pillow cases and blanket. Soap & towels provided.
Rooms 10-31 are tiny sleeping rooms with bunk beds and not much extra space. (Budget)
Rooms 1-8 are larger rooms with Smart TV’s with Cable, mini fridges and various other amenities. (Smaller than motel rooms, but nicer than most!)
Rooms 4 and 9 are the shared bunk rooms (dorms). (Guests must be 18 years of age or older to stay in the shared rooms. Please rent a private room if you are traveling with children.)
Shared locking residential-style tile bathrooms off main hallways. We reserve the right to shift guests between dorm rooms to best accommodate everyone.

Navigate to Big Bear Hostel, 527 Knickerbocker Road, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. Our driveway is between two large trees behind Getboards sports shop. The office is on the far side of Yellow House.
Policies
We offer a Safe and Secure environment. All guests must present a valid government issued ID at check in. (State Drivers license, ID or passport)
Due to the communal nature of our lodge, no unregistered guests are allowed on the property. No visitors or extra guests are allowed to visit you during your stay. Courtesy to your fellow guests is required. You must clean up after yourself in common areas. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason if they might impact the enjoyment of other guests. Violations of our terms and conditions will result in eviction without refund. You agree to be held responsible for any damages caused during your stay. You agree we can charge you for damages or excessive cleaning caused by you or guests in your party. 24hr video recording of outside entrances.
Double Check you have the correct "Number of Guests".
Children must be included in your guest count and are not free. Most rooms don't have space for cribs. Your reservation shows the number of guests allowed in your room. Private room base rates include 1-3 guests (depending on room size). Extra guests cost $10-25+tax depending on room/season. If you show up with extra guests and we cannot accommodate everyone, you will not be allowed to stay and not given a refund. We can't guarantee you can extend your stay. Please reserve the correct number of nights ahead of time.

NO SMOKING allowed in any of our rooms or buildings. Outside smoking 15ft from windows/doors okay.
SORRY, NO PETS are allowed. We love pets, but not everyone does! Its not fair to other guests to have animals in the common spaces.
Big Bear has many Pet Friendly lodges, please choose them when traveling with pets.
HEATING / AC: Our buildings have forced air central heating set around 70 degrees. We have no cooling system as mountain breezes keep Big Bear cool 99% of the time.
GAME ROOM may be unavailable if we have a large private group rental.
AGE LIMITATIONS. You must be 18 years or older to make a reservation and have valid ID and credit card.
