We are happy to be hosting PCT hikers again in 2026!
Amenities:
Many weekends we have Church or youth groups which rent our whole facility.
Therefore some Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights may be unavailable.
We no longer hold packages for hikers because we are often closed for days.
The Big Bear Lake 92315 Post Office is a few hundred feet away and its open 6 days a week. General Delivery is your best option.
Reservations are required.
Rooms have a base rate that includes 1 guest and extra guests are usually $25.

Where to jump off the PCT trail near Big Bear?
MILE 252.1: Highway 38 (ONYX SUMMIT) - First chance - lots of traffic coming into town.
MILE 266: Highway 18 (CUSHIONBERRY GRADE) - BEST PLACE TO GET A RIDE INTO and BACK from hostel
MILE 274.1: Van Dusen Canyon Road - Fireroad crossing - still 2 miles of dirt road into town
Mile 277.7: Cougar Crest Trail - 2 mile Singletrack Trail down to lake far side of lake from the village
