Dear PCT Thru Hikers,
For 2024, it is with great sadness that we are announcing that we no longer have the resources to host PCT Hikers.
For 15 years we did trail magic and went the extra mile for those of you hiking those extra miles. Then the pandemic forced us to close as a hostel for a few years and during that time we pivoted to hosting small groups in private rentals. We also host large group retreats on most weekends.
We reopened our hostel midweek and some weekends for the 2022/23 ski season. But it is now too hard for us to switch between being an aromatic hiker hostel, and hosting groups that don't appreciate your sweet smells of success.
We kindly request that you choose another place to stay during your time in Big Bear.
Black Forest Lodge has nice spa rooms and is close to village and 92315 Post Office.
